Hokkaido Corporation was founded by Mr. Hiroshi Kubota and named after Hokkaido, the second largest island in Northern Japan. Mr. Kubota was born in Fu Zhou China and moved to Hokkaido as a teen. He began his journey working in local restaurants but always dreaming of having his own one day. He traveled to the US with high hopes to fulfill his dream, his idea of combining the exotic flavors of the East with classical tastes of Western gourmet dishes and the innovative concept of open-kitchen design which showcases the chef’s skills in gourmet preparation to the diners turned into the success of Hokkaido sea food Restaurant. Today after Twenty five Years of continues success; Mr. Kubota continues to work daily to provide the highest level of dining experience possible.
